After five weeks on the charts, Tupac: Resurrection was certified platinum. The soundtrack fell from the 20th to the 29th position on The Billboard 200 this week.

The first single of the soundtrack, "Runnin' (Dying To Live)" featuring The Notorious B.I.G. and produced by Eminem, fell from the 19th to the 20th position on The Billboard Hot 100 after 11 weeks.

The single rose from the seventh to the fifth position on Hot Rap Tracks after 11 weeks and remained on the 11th position on The Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks after 12 weeks.
